SIMONA RUSK collaborated with a number of talented emerging designers at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer22. The exquisite venue of La Galerie Bourbon provided a sumptuous backdrop to a show that saw designers from around the world come together under the umbrella of Flying Solo.
SIMONA RUSK’s elegant and sophisticated designs proved the perfect compliment to designs as diverse as the designers themselves - from the vibrant fluidity of Brazillian designer Malu Sanffer, to the bold flamboyance of Zimbabwean brand Zargue’Sia and effervescence of Marcos Villafruela.
SIMONA RUSK’s Spring/Summer22 collection draws inspiration from the music culture of the late 70’s. It embraces the flamboyance of the New Romantics to the sensibility of freedom and expression of Studio 54’s disco glamour. Each design retains her signature of uncompromising decadence, with the introduction of a fresh, spirited femininity. Colours range from delicate pastels to bold retro-inspired prints in tangerine and emerald.
